Make No Bones About It—Creative Partnerships Work

Abstract

This article explores collaboration with a community-based organization to promote bone health. Hospital libraries have the ability to create significant programs for populations most affected by osteoporosis. Reliable information is critical to making informed health care decisions. The authors recommend the use of Web-based health resources in additition to standard educational presentations to raise awareness of bone health and to prevent osteoporosis.
