Abstract

In this interview Albert Ellis answers questions on the theory and practice of rationalemotive therapy (RET). The founder of RET especially discusses the following topics: the role of irrational thinking in emotional distress; the origin of irrational beliefs; therapeutic change agents; elegant or preferential RET; philosophical roots of RET; and client-therapist relationships in rationalemotive therapy.
