Abstract
DynaMed is a clinical, evidence-based reference system, designed by a physician for use by physicians and other health care professionals at the point of care. The database is comprised of 1,800+ summaries of information on diseases, disorders, and symptoms. That information covers etiology, associated conditions, history and physical findings, differential diagnosis and diagnostic testing, prognosis, treatment, and prevention. This column will provide general information about DynaMed, as well as examples of search strategies for clinical usefulness at (or near) the point of care.
