Abstract
This paper provides a review of the current status of the walnut industry in India. The cultural practices, growing regions and marketing trends of the walnut industry in India are analyzed in detail. The paper also addresses the issues related to production constraints and future expansion in India's commercial walnut production. With the improved living standards and increased interest in walnut growing, India is quietly becoming a major walnut producing country.
