An Analysis of Radiation Streaming Through Inhomogeneities in the Fusion Reactor Blanket and Shield

Abstract

The results of calculations of radiation streaming through channels and gaps in the OTR reactor are presented. The discrete ordinates Sn method was used for two-dimensional analysis with the DOT3 code with 166/131 and 100/65 forward angle quadratures and the multigroup constant DLC-21 library. The analytical results are compared with previous data for the Fusion Experimental Reactor.
