Abstract
This patent concerns novel platinum (Pt) complexes and combinations of Pt drugs and folic acid for the treatment of cancer and AIDS. More specifically, this patent describes the preparation of : i) novel dinuclear Pt complexes; ii) combinations of cisplatin and folic compounds; iii) carboplatin analogues. Results of preliminary biological testing are provided.
