Summary

Novelty: New quinolines with LTD4-antagonisitic activity are disclosed.

Biology: Although methods are described for testing compounds as SRS-A antagonists or as inhibitors of [3H]-LTD4 binding, there are no detailed results for the claimed compounds.

Chemistry: There are sixty-four synthetic examples and many additional compounds claimed by analogy. Twenty-six compounds are specifically claimed. One of these is 5-(3-(3-(2-quinolinylmethyloxy)benzyloxy)phenyl)tetrazole.
