, Ph.D.
Pages 29-46 | Accepted 09 Jan 2008, Published online: 21 Aug 2015

Abstract

The value of combined individual and group therapy is considered, with a focus on dealing with resistance, illuminating the transference process, and making that process accessible to analysis. The ways in which the two modalities enhance each other’s assets and compensate for each other’s limitations are explored.
