Key factors in the primary care diagnosis of migraine

Abstract

Classification systems for migraine and related daily headache syndromes represent expert consensus and lack biologic markers. These diagnostic categories have been essential to standardize research but might not be ideal in primary care settings. New paradigms which may be more useful for primary care physicians are explored.
