Abstract

Seborrheic dermatitis is a common inflammatory skin condition, occurring mostly on the face, scalp and chest. Seborrheic dermatitis may have a significant, negative influence on a patient’s well being. However, despite its high frequency, the impact of seborrheic dermatitis on patients’ quality of life has not been well studied, so far. Here, we review data from current literature to determine how seborrheic dermatitis affects the patients quality of life and which factors may modulate the Dermatology Life Quality Index in this group of patients.
