The 3rd World Congress of Ophthalmic Anaesthesia attracted delegates from all continents. This friendly meeting of ophthalmologists and anesthetists/anesthesiologists provided an excellent forum with lectures, discussions and workshops, all aimed at improving anesthesia techniques for eye surgery and pain management. Taking place every 4 years, the next World Congress is planned for 2016 in Chennai, India.
