Following publication of the article, the authors raised concerns over the duplication of the two bar charts in Figure 5D. In addition, concerns were also raised about the duplication of images from Figure 2 with images from an unrelated article. Specifically,

When approached for an explanation, the authors were cooperative but were unable to provide a sufficient explanation for the image duplication or provide sufficient original data for their study. As verifying the validity of published work is core to the integrity of the scholarly record, we are therefore retracting the article and the authors agreed with this decision.
