We would like to announce that, as of January 2011, HIV Therapy will be incorporated within the coverage of sister title, Future Virology. Correspondingly, Future Virology will increase in frequency of publication from 6 to 12 issues per year in order to accommodate the additional content and an increasing number of high-quality submissions.

Future Virology is dedicated to providing the latest research and opinion in virology to researchers and clinicians across the globe. The journal was launched in January 2006 and continues to go from strength to strength. The journal reflects the input and creativity of excellent researchers from both industry and academia. We believe that the integration of HIV Therapy will help to build on this during 2011 and beyond. In order to facilitate the merger of the titles, Future Virology will publish an increased proportion of opinion pieces, reviews and primary research in HIV/AIDS, reflecting the significant position of HIV research within virology. Accordingly, many of the editorial board of HIV Therapy will continue in their advisory and supportive capacity as part of the Future Virology editorial board.

Both journals have always received excellent feedback from the community regarding the quality of coverage, timely topics, comprehensive reviews and presentation standards. We are confident that the new, monthly Future Virologywill benefit from the synergy between the two titles and will emerge stronger and with a higher profile than would otherwise have been possible.

On behalf of the entire editorial team, we would like to thank you for your support of HIV Therapy over the last few years and look forward to working with you on the new Future Virology.
