Ines Weizman
Ines Weizman is Senior Lecturer at the Cass School of Art, Architecture and Design, London Metropolitan University and a Junior Professor of Architectural Theory at the Bauhaus University Weimar. She was trained as an architect at the Bauhaus University, Weimar, the École d'Architecture de Belleville in Paris, Cambridge University, and the Architectural Association where she completed her PhD thesis in History and Theory. In 2012 she organized the AHRA Conference “Architecture and the Paradox of Dissidence.” A book of the same title was published in 2014 by Routledge. Research and exhibition projects include “Repeat Yourself.” Loos, Law and the Culture of the Copy (2012-13) and Celltexts. Books and Other Works Produced in Prison (2008-9). Her articles have been published in magazines and journals including AA Files, ADD METAPHYSICS, ARCH+, BEYOND, Displayer, JAE, Perspecta and Volume, and books including The Sage Handbook of Architectural Theory (2012), StadtHeimaten (2012), Agency (2009), Urban Transformation (2008), Dictionary of War (2008), Critique without Memory, or Memory without Critique (2007) and Against-Within (2007).
