Pages 194-214 | Published online: 20 Dec 2014

Abstract

The first part of this article sums up the experience gained in ideological and political work for the worker-peasant-soldier students and explains the importance of giving prominence to proletarian politics. The second part sums up how the unity of theory and practice is promoted in the process of linking up teaching with typical engineering work. This means selecting representative engineering work on the basis of the needs of teaching and in accordance with the principle of proceeding from the shallow to the deep and from the easy to the difficult, and through such links as construction work, designing and teaching of theory, linking participation in practice with teaching of theory, and striving to obtain more complete knowledge. The third part deals with the question of building a "three-in-one" combination teaching force.
