Abstract
The Shenyang Medical College was formerly the Health School of the Red Army of Workers and Peasants founded by Chairman Mao in Juichin in 1931. The following article shows that to operate a medical college successfully, it is imperative to carry forward the glorious revolutionary tradition formed in the years of revolutionary war, to persist in being oriented to the countryside, to build teaching bases in the rural areas, to serve the people heart and soul, and to insure that the teachers and students will never divorce themselves from the workers, peasants, and soldiers.
