Abstract

Confucius was a thinker of the slave-owning aristocrats on the decline in the latter part of the period of the Spring and Autumn. He devoted his entire life to upholding the disintegrating slave-owning system. His work in education was an important aspect of his activities for counterrevolutionary restoration.
