Ministry of Education Holds a National Symposium on How to Use the Newly Compiled Teaching Material for Secondary School Politics Courses

Abstract

From March 30 to April 11 this year, the Ministry of Education held in Suzhou municipality a national symposium on how to use the newly compiled teaching material for secondary school politics courses. Attending the symposium were 240 formal delegates, comprising leading comrades from the Ministry of Education and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, responsible comrades in charge of secondary school politics courses from the various provincial, municipal, and regional education bureaus (offices) and educational institutes, secondary school principals, deans, and politics teachers, teachers of the political education departments of various normal colleges and universities, as well as comrades and specialists of the editorial groups for the new teaching material for the five politics courses. With the nonvoting delegates from Jiangsu province, Suzhou municipality, and Suzhou prefecture, some 500 delegates attended the symposium.
