Shanghai Universities Set up New Specializations Related to Foreign Trade

Abstract

A number of specializations related to foreign trade which are intended to suit the needs of the open door policy have brought about an eye-catching change in the disciplinary structure of institutions of higher learning in Shanghai. To date, thirty specializations of this type have been set up in fifty-four specialist areas, accounting for 6.4 percent of the total number of specialties in city colleges and universities.
