Abstract
Commissioned by the China Society of Higher Education, the Research Association of Vocational University Education made a scientific study of higher vocational and technical education. Higher vocational/technical education is a very broad subject; its students come from diverse circles and its course of development has not been a smooth one. In both theory and practice, there are many questions that need to be studied and that are difficult to research. Pertinent problems cannot be seen clearly in a short time.
