The Survey and Excavation of Ta-Tu of the Yüan

Abstract

In the period of the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, many ancient sites in all parts of the country were surveyed and excavated. This work has provided rich and substantial materials for both the study of our country's social history and for the vivid education in class struggle of the broad masses. The work of survey and excavation carried out in the ancient site of Yüan Ta-tu in Peking is such an example.
