Strive Toward the Consolidation of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat

Thoughts on Viewing the Relics Unearthed During the Great Cultural Revolution

Pages 70-74 | Published online: 20 Dec 2014

Abstract

I am worker-peasant-soldier member who just last year entered the faculty of history of Peking University. After viewing the relics unearthed during the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, in particular the "jade garments sewn with gold thread," the "eternal fidelity lamp," and other funerary objects unearthed at the Han tombs at Mancheng, I received a profound lesson in class education. It has raised my awareness of the class struggle, of the struggle between the various lines, and of the continuing revolution. It has also strengthened my ability to identify such phony-Marxist political swindlers of the ilk of Liu Shao-ch'i.
