Abstract
Rural urbanization is an issue put squarely before us by China's rural development over the past dozen years. It is a question that greatly concerns both practical workers and the academic community. My research paper "Comparative Study of Urbanization in South China"1 discussed it from the rural perspective, in the writing of which rural urbanization was the object of this author's extensive ruminations. This article lays out the results of my thoughts, which I present to my colleagues for reference.
