Abstract
Both my husband and I work in the Peking Department Store, the city's largest. My husband, Wang Chun-chuan, is on the management staff. I work behind the counter. We have three daughters. The older two, aged ten and eight, are in primary school. The youngest, four, goes to the nursery run by the store. Although both of us work and we have children, we have all along been able to work with our minds free from domestic worries and have never needed to let housework and having children affect our progress.
