Girls Don't Move Up

Abstract

Coeducation of boys and girls seemed self-evident, correct, and progressive. The level of education of the two sexes has evened out. Nonetheless, and despite joint education of boys and girls, we still find women in subordinate position in the world of work. A particular aspect of this phenomenon is elucidated here.
