Abstract

Education reform seems to be a major issue in many countries and should be based on research and dissemination of the findings. The many educational research institutions in European countries collect and disseminate findings so all interested parties can learn and use these in the context of their individual nation and culture. Too often, however, the findings of research do not reach the hands of decision makers for many years, if ever.
