Abstract
With the object of improving the management of industry, the Supreme Soviet of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics resolves:
Article 1
To establish the following union-republic ministries of the USSR:
Ministry of the Ferrous Metallurgy;
Ministry of Non-Ferrous Metallurgy;
Ministry of the Coal Industry;
Ministry of the Chemical Industry;
Ministry of the Oil-Extraction Industry;
Ministry of the Oil-Refining and Petrochemical Industry;
Ministry of the Timber, Pulp and Paper, and Woodworking Industry;
Ministry of the Building Materials Industry;
Ministry of Light Industry;
Ministry of the Food Industry;
Ministry of the Meat and Dairy Industry.
