Abstract
The Russian Orthodox Church is Russia's "official" national religion, and its attitudes toward other denominations are ambivalent at best. Thus, the collaboration of Orthodox and non-Orthodox Christian congregations in support of social welfare programs offers an instructive example of successful interfaith initiatives in Russia.
