Abstract
Chemistry is one of the most rapidly developing sciences of our time. Along with mathematics, physics, and biology, it was numbered among the key branches of natural science by the Program of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (1, p. 126). Its successes have greatly broadened our knowledge of the life of nature and of the laws of its development, and they have brought this science to the forefront in the struggle for scientific and technological progress, for the creation of the material and technical base of communism in our country.
