Abstract
The preparation of a completely isolated soma of neurons of molluscs provides the means for more thorough study of the functions of the postsynaptic (somatic) membrane in plastic reorganizations [1,2]. In a previously published work [2], we reported on phenomena of adaptation to the action of a direct electric stimulus in the completely isolated soma of neurons of Helix pomatia. In the present report we shall present the basic results obtained in "associative" learning by an isolated neuron soma.
