Abstract
The Party Program gives great attention to further strengthening socialist law and order and legality, and to completely eliminating crime and all its causes. In setting forth the democratic principles on which justice is based, the Party Program also notes that these fundamentals are to be further developed and improved, so that further improvement of the provisions of the law becomes a matter of major significance. In the light of these directives, it is most important to consider ideas for refinement of legislation, and in particular of legislation governing criminal procedure.
