Abstract
In connection with the publication of the first volume of Capital, Engels wrote: "In the years that capitalists and workers have existed on earth, no book has appeared that is as important for workers as the one that now lies before us." (1) These words continue to be valid today. The past century, the central event of which was the triumphant Great October Socialist Revolution in Russia, has been marked by the triumph of Marxism. Life is confirming the correctness and timeliness of the major conclusions of Capital. The dialectical materialist concept of the state and law that was set forth in it has also withstood the test of time.
