Abstract

Three aspects of human mental activity, all of which are inseparably interconnected, may be provisionally distinguished: (1) intellectual processes governing cognitive activity; (2) emotions, through which are manifested a person's attitude toward his surroundings and toward the objects of his thought; and (3) volitional processes, which are intimately associated with human activity.
