Edict of the Presidium of the RSFSR Supreme Soviet On Establishing Supervisory Commissions Under Executive Committees of City Soviets (In Cities Subdivided into Districts), and of Area, Regional, and Territorial Soviets of Working People's Deputies and Under Councils of Ministers of Autonomous Republics, and on Amendment and Supplementation of the Statute on Supervisory Commissions

Abstract

To coordinate the work of public participation in the reeducation of convicted persons, and also in accordance with the USSR laws of July 11, 1969, "On Amending and Supplementing the Principles of Criminal Legislation of the USSR and the Union Republics" and "On Promulgation of the Principles of Correctional Labor Legislation of the USSR and the Union Republics," the Presidium of the RSFSR Supreme Soviet resolves:

To consider as essential the establishing of supervisory commissions under executive committees of city (in cities subdivided into districts), area, regional, and territorial soviets of working people's deputies and under councils of ministers of autonomous republics.
