Abstract

The rising scale of involvement of natural resources in the economy, the scientific and technological progress embracing all aspects of the life of society, and the increase of population in cities and other communities are accompanied by an intensification of human influences upon the natural environment and produce the need for conservation. The job is to assure preservation, restoration, and improvement of natural conditions favorable to human existence under circumstances in which rapid development of material production and social services is occurring as an objective process.
