Abstract
The Soviet people, inspired by the decisions of the Twenty-Fourth Congress of the CPSU, are preparing with tremendous labor and political enthusiasm for the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the socialist multinational state. The founding of the USSR was a triumph of Leninist nationality policy, facilitating the building of a socialist society with a high economic, sociopolitical, and cultural level of development of all the national republics. An important result of the successful solution of the nationalities question was the establishment of complete equality of the languages of all the nations and peoples of the Soviet Union in all the spheres of the country's public and social life, facilitating their harmonious and comprehensive development.
