Abstract
The role of science in socialist society is enormous. The application of its achievements in production strongly influences all aspects of the life of society and government. Under socialism, science serves the interests of social progress and raises the material and cultural values employed for the welfare of the people. Under contemporary conditions, successful implementation of internal political, economic, social, military, and other measures in the interests of socialism, peace, and progress is impossible without utilization of the most advanced achievements of science. The entire activity of the state rests on its achievements.
