Abstract
The Communist Party of the Soviet Union is marking the seventieth anniversary of the Second Congress of the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party (RSDLP). The significance of this congress to world history, as is emphasized in the decree of the Central Committee of the CPSU, lies in the fact that "the process of unification of the revolutionary Marxist organizations was completed there, and the party of the working class of Russia was founded, based on the principles of political ideology and organization developed by V. I. Lenin. A proletarian party of a new type came into being, the party of Bolsheviks, the great Leninist party."
