Pages 21-35 | Published online: 20 Dec 2014

Abstract

I. The USSR Constitution has enhanced the significance of socialist justice, has strengthened and developed the democratic foundations of the organization and implementation of justice, and has expanded the jurisdiction of courts (Articles 57, 58, 151-162). This has increased the significance of the legislation on the organization and implementation of justice — on the judicial system [sudoustroistvo] and criminal and civil procedure.
