Abstract
Agencies of state arbitration [arbitrazh] have always played a significant role in strengthening socialist legality in economic relationships and in improving the efficiency of operation of the economic machinery. As we know, they were established in 1931. (1) The Statute on Arbitration provides that it was organized "to settle property disputes between institutions and organizations of the socialized sector in a direction that would further strengthening of contractual and planning discipline and economic accounting."
