Abstract
Concern for the Soviet family, for strengthening marriage and the family, is one of the most important tasks of the Soviet state. Our country has created the most favorable conditions for strong, healthy families. The material well-being of the citizens is steadily rising, and housing and living conditions are improving. Measures to protect mothers and encourage motherhood, to develop health care and sports, and to raise the cultural level of citizens promote the strengthening of the family. Everything necessary is being done to make the Soviet family viable and to enable it to perform its tasks and functions more completely.
