Programmatic Goals of the CPSU and Global Problems

Abstract

The new draft of the CPSU Program devotes considerable attention to the social phenomenon which is generally referred to as global problems. These are problems which touch upon the interests of all peoples, requiring their assiduous attention and coordinated efforts. They are problems which pose (or could pose) a threat to the future of the people of the earth as long as they remain unsolved or their solution is put off; and they are problems which must be resolved in the interests of the progress of all mankind.
