Abstract
The French newspaper Le Monde recently published the following report:
"At a discussion of history problems at the A. A. Fadeev Writers' Club in Moscow on Thursday, the 7th of January, Soviet playwright Shatrov declared that an article on Andrei Vyshinskii, chief prosecutor at the Stalin trials of 1936-38, that was to have been published in the next issue of Liternaturnaia gazeta had been banned by official censorship.
