Abstract
The publications on Khrushchev (AiF, 1988, nos. 25, 27, 47) occasioned many letters from readers. In particular, P. E. Shelest, First Secretary at the time of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Ukraine and member of the Politburo of the CPSU Central Committee, responded. Below we present an interview with him by our correspondent.
