Stalin's Letters to Molotov

Abstract

The letters being brought to the attention of the reader here are preserved in the Central Party Archives of the CPSU Central Committee's Institute of Marxism-Leninism, where V.M. Molotov deposited them in December 1969. Despite their somewhat fragmentary character these documents enable us to expand and clarify substantially existing notions of the character and mechanism of the Party and state leadership of the country in the late twenties and early thirties.
