Why Do We Make Missiles?

Pages 40-45 | Published online: 08 Dec 2014

Abstract

The author of the article published below is not a dilettante in missile construction. He is a colonel in the reserves and has traversed the path from a junior military officer to the head of the military representation attached to a design bureau (KB) developing surface-to-air missiles and has served in the Main Missile and Artillery Administration. Perhaps his point of view will seem unacceptable to other active specialists. But if we have firmly determined to become a part of the community of civilized countries, then is the question posed by the title of the article not a valid one?
