Abstract
Literaturnaia gazeta and the Carnegie Foundation's Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies brought well-known U.S. political figures, former presidential National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski and former Secretary of Defense James Schlesinger, together for a round-table discussion in Washington. Literaturnaia gazeta was represented by Dimitri Simes (chairman of the center) and Iurii Shchekochikhin.
