Abstract

The last few years have been filled with momentous events that have abruptly changed not only the life but also the destiny of dozens of countries and millions of people throughout the world. Favorable prospects have opened up, but at the same time we have been confronted by new challenges. We have come a considerable distance toward shedding frayed stereotypes, finding answers to new questions that have arisen, and making necessary new decisions. Nonetheless, we are only at the very beginning of a difficult and probably complex quest.
