Abstract
Boris Yeltsin's personality has always invited questions. Of course, it is still too early for a definitive and dispassionate analysis of his role. Yeltsin's time has not yet passed, as confirmed by recent events, in which he dismissed key figures of his administration. But already in our assessments we can avoid unreasoning hate and unnecessary adulation.
