Abstract

[From the editors:] Perhaps the most popular and most-read genre today is scenarios of what will happen to the economy—the ruble and the dollar—and what the country can expect in general. Some forecasts are optimistic, but most, of course, are pessimistic—and simply stunning. The author of the current article presents Literaturnaia gazeta with just such a worst-case, if instructive, scenario.
